Not another Blogger, Please...

Not another person on the internet bitching about their problems, posting their salmon wrapped dinner like the rest of the world, or selling the free products they were sent to advertise...

The blogger population has been increasing at a very fast rate over the past five to ten years. We've seen a population of educators trying to publish their knowledge on the internet shift to a population of mothers, businesses, and young millenials talking about, well prehaps, whatever the hell they want to that day.

Let's talk demographics-

About 53.1% of bloggers out there are between the ages of 21-35, 50.1% are female and suprisingly 49.1% male, and they typically reside in The United State or The United Kingdom. If you are asking why we would want to know this, remember it is always important to know who your author is.

Let's talk credibility-

The biggest struggle readers find themselves facing when they read these blogs presents itself as the truth behind the words. You will notice that business' have come accustome to this fad too; Almost every B2C has their own blog, along with partenered bloggers advertising their products. So how do we really know if this new product is really that good or if they're just advertising it for money? Find your bloggers with high followings, fit your income bracket of products, and read read read. What i've found over the years of being a blog reader is the best will not advertise soley for the money, but also for the products they truly find the best.

Let's talk pyschology-

So why does the world find the need to blog? Many people view blogging as a sick need to tell the world constantly what you're doing. Although for some this may be true, there are also other dedicated to educating, sharing and storytelling. Below I have listed the top reasons: To rant. To educate. To write. To have a voice. For ego motivation. To entertain. To build their resume. For creativity. For community. For fame. For Money.

Let's talk me-

Here, I am writing for myself. Not for a future employer, a class, or even to vent. I am writing for a hub of all things Me. If you are reading along, I promise to always stay true to my posts and products I advertise on.

So why do we see this increase of the blog nation? Perhaps it's because more people are doing it, more people are finding a platform to share their ideas, or maybe, the world is evolving with people sharing their new, creative ideas who just can't wait any longer. I challenge those who are hesitant to blogging- Find a topic you're passionate about, read up on facts and blogs, and you will be amazed as to the beautiful thoughts printed on the screen infront of you.

Until then...

XO,

Aubrey
