Poshmark, the new Ebay?

Over the years, Ebay has taken the marketplace in C2C selling platforms. Vendors from all over the world are able to quickly upload desired products they want to sell, with minimal effort.

Ebay's biggest competition has been Amazon-- these two do not directly compare though. Poshmark, a new C2C sales application has launched in hopes of taking the C2C selling market.

What does well?

Poshmark primarily offers clothing, accessories, and shoes. More higher end brands do much better such as Tory Burch, Free People, and Steve Madden.

Who does well?

Sellers with more than ten items. When sellers offer a large amount of products, it creates a sense of "boutique shopping." I've found that bloggers do extremely well on this site. They not only have the trendiest and high fashion items, but they also have minimum wear.

Is it safe?

I have found Poshmark to be more trustworthy than Ebay. Their terms & conditions can be read on the website, with no hidden fees. As a buyer and seller, I feel my transactions are secure.

What makes it different?

Poshmark has created a sense of community for its sellers and buyers. With product parties, community pages, and conversations, Poshmark has enabled the consumer to feel apart of the company.

Take a look for yourself! www.poshmark.com
