Becoming your own Designer-- Canva unleashed

Many times I come across small business owners seeking marketing and advertising content for their brand. Most of the time, they are not asking for UX Photoshop created videos or pattern designs. The majority of the time, they’re seeking creative pieces such as logos, social media posts, posters, and brand fluent content.

I often ask if any of them have looked through the current user-friendly design applications that are currently out there. The answer most of the time is no.

To help brand yourself or your business, seek out Canva.com.

Canva is an app that makes design simple for everyone. You do not need extensive training or hours of your time to learn this platform. You can create designs for Web or print: blog graphics, presentations, Instagram and Facebook posts, flyers, posters, invitations and even professional documents like letterheads.

This platform can do the majority of what you will ask your “web designer” or “paid marketing agency” to do for one twelfth of the price, if even that.

With millions of layouts at your fingertips, you are able to tailor each creative piece to your desire.

Here's how to:

Step 1. Choose your design.

Step 2. Select a Layout

Step 3. Insert your Word Content

Step 4. Edit Background or Photo Content

Step 5. Download

Step 6. Use and Post anywhere as YOUR own!

So why waste your time on a step by step?

Because cutting costs when promoting yourself or promoting your business is vital to the survival of your brand. To continue to create pieces that are eye-catching and engaging, will ensure your brand obtains fluency across its own marketing and branding while economically staying on top.

I have also provided a slideshow below of some creatives I've made for clients of my own.

Until then, feel free to continue to pay 75$ an hour to have creative pieces made that you can make in just minutes. Or choose to be educated, and check Cavna.com for yourself!

XO,

Aubrey Moller
